FINALLY! After months of pining with nothing to sustain my fannish habit bar a few blurry pics and some (admittedly entertainly cracked) 'rumours', we at last have what might be our first Genuine No Really It Might Actually Happen TW spoiler! *pings off walls*

The initial alert went out here, leading us all over here, before finally more details went up at Torchwood TV over here.

To be fair it is just a casting spoiler and I still haven't the foggiest what's going on Season 2, but ooh let the speculation continue =)

You know, I can never understand how people can stay away from spoilers for shows which have such long hiatuses as TW - what would we do without spoilers? Even farfetched ones, and this one is pretty solid.

My personal theory is that (a) such souls have wills of purest still, or (b) they have slight sadomasochist tendencies which means they actually enjoy the unbearable tension and hopelessness of not knowing What Happens Next that weaker folks such as me suffer during the long interim months.

I have to say even the far fetched ones have been entertaining, and generated some fic ideas if nothing else :)
