*flails* Right, do not click on the link/LJ-cut unless you are a spoiler ho or just do not actually care in the slightest what happens in the Torchwood finale (including in the FINAL SCENE).

From this link:
Rhys dies. There is some kind of betrayal of Jack. In the final moment Jack disappears right in front of the team to the sound of the TARDIS.

(1) Okay, honestly, who is surprised about Rhys? I called that one happening by the end of the second episode, on the grounds that nice people are always for the chop or at the very least mutilation.

(2) The betrayal.

*FLAILS*

'One day, I'll have the chance to save you, and I'll watch you suffer and die.'

My money's on Ianto. I don't see him as an evil person, I think he'll be fighting as hard as the rest of the team to save the world and trying to keep Torchwood alive. I'm also not convinced that he'll haev spent months plotting some intricate scheme to kill Jack off, just because that would detract from needed work in the Hub. BUT, if fate happens to throw him a chance to harm Jack without harming the others, my guess is that Ianto will take it.

Also, I think he might have been having second thoughts recently. Just because he has seemed so much part of the team as of late. But the preview does show the return of (ghost?) Lisa - and what are the odd's she'll trigger all the old guilt and anger in Ianto. So yes, betrayal here we come.

In which case, I hate/love the writers for at least having some continuity with Ianto's character. It would be comforting to know that they actually do have reasons for having death threats thrown out, other than just for fun.

Of course I could be wrong. Either it won't be Ianto at all, or he'll start but be unable to go through with whatever the betrayal consists of.

Anyway, assuming that Ianto doesn't just do NOTHING AT ALL, this should make next season's relationships within the group very fun indeed. And, angst, thy name is Jack/Ianto...

(3) The TARDIS.

*FLAILS AND FALLS OVER*

We've seen in The Runaway Bride that huon particles are part of the TARDIS, and when part of a human it can allow that human to transport directly inside of the time machine. Something supposedly impossible.

I don't think it's Huon particles, but I wonder if it's to do with the Doctor somehow being within a radius that the TARDIS energy (heart of the TARDIS) that presumably Jack has had inside him since his resurrection, will cause a similar dislocation.

Oh, in which case I cannot wait to see The Doctor's face if Jack just materialises in front of him. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Not getting Torchwood here (though those wedding pics of Barrowman are spectacular. He is so-o pretty). But I'm parachuting into this post to wave cheerfully in your direction and wish you the best. And grin at you. --> ;-)
