Torchwood, again

Watched Spooks on BBC3. Very good, full of assassins and double-agents and unpleasant past histories *rubs hands* I wandered away to make a tea as the credits rolled, and walked back in time to catch the last few seconds of the Torchwood preview.

*happy sigh*

What is it with me and polite men in suits. I mean, honestly, Ianto has had a total screentime of, what, ten minutes so far this season? Yet... *flails* I'm so looking foward to next week! I mean, how can you hate a character who's described on the official website as having "hidden depths of anguish and darkness". *snorfle* See that? Hidden depths. Oh yes =)

In summary, to quote the header of torchwoodcoffee: He's a bit like Alfred. But with a pterodactyl, hidden depths of anguish and darkness, and he makes a mean cup of coffee. Add onto that at least one impending scene of interest (spoilery, but totally worth it), and posts like lixa_turner's Ianto picspam, and I think a detect a possible new fandom crush...

Ianto is polite, good-looking and looks good in a suit. He fetches coffee and take-away and makes sure that any unpleasantries are taken care of. And on top of all that, there is hidden depths of anguish.

I want to marry this man.

Hehe, every show needs its Wesley-esque character :) I'm also curious to see whether or not Torchwood can manage the supposedly impossible: namely make the Welsh accent sexy...
