lonelybritI'm back in Brum having succesfully negotiated the motorways for a second time, though this time all by my lonesome. Yet again I took wrong turnings at least three times, at one point finding myself on the duel carriageway South towards Sussex instead of North for the Midlands. Oops.
Anyway, the house is being cleared, it's rather sad seeing it all packed away. If you need further proof of this being the end, we now have no internet. Woe.
To make matters worse, my parents managed to wander off with my mobile. Our landline is about to die too, so this leaves me with nothing but carrier pigeons and the computers at uni for communication with the outside world.
No net. No phone. Most of the pals have now left the city. *sigh* Then again, if this is the price to pay for seeing Bob in the pub, karma or whatever, fair play and I'm not complaining, because yes the shallow fangirl in me is still grinning over that :)
